N26

Product Design / UX & UI

N26 is a German based digital first bank that offers its services throughout various member states of the Single Euro Payments Area and within the US. They offer customers with both personal and business banking services and products.

Dominic was approached to conduct a UX design audit review of the N26 performance landing pages. The brief was to focus on producing an improved design strategic outlook and visual design mockups that translate those recommendations and best practices for the LPs.

He also conducted a review of the existing LPs, which led to him composing a detailed set of guidelines that would capture and highlight his strategic design thinking for the considerations of the user which were previously lacking in the previous LPs. But also to enable and empower the in-house design team to take steer from when producing future LPs for the bank.

Dominic formed the following principles to structure the LP guidelines, shown below but all were elaborated further in detail to improve the understanding of how to execute these principles within the design and research process.

  • Increase Engagement

  • Reducing Clutter & Noise

  • Elevating Key Details & Focus on Value

  • Improving Content Context & Association

  • Maintaining Consistent Clean Visual Direction

  • Mindful Design Cues
